BlogHer 2010
The time has finally come. This is my first BlogHer event and I think it is fabulous that the conference is in NYC. Hooray for New York. I don’t have to travel far. I signed up for BlogHer way back in Febraury and I have to tell you the time came quick. So quick that I did not even have my business cards and I forgot to tell my boss I was not going to be at work that day!
In the end, it all worked out well. I have business cards from Vista Print. I printed out my BlogHer conference guide. I even know which breakout sessions I want to join. I also have plans to meet Lori from Chic Geek Designs and Michelle from When I Grow Up Coach for breakfast and whatever comes after, I am game.
I think it is terrific to meet the people behind the blogs since I have been reading blogs since October 2009. I am excited to network with other bloggers, especially fellow registered nurses. I don’t meet many nurses who blog at work so it will be a great experience I am sure to meet people in the healthcare business. But, I also would like to network with others besides health and wellness folks. I’d love to meet food bloogers, spiritual bloggers, art and design bloggers, and business bloggers. Heck, I want to meet all of you! For those of you attending, I will see you all tomorrow! And I will also be tweeting. I am looking forward to learning something new.
