Alphabet Walk Blog Hop
Enough of the serious posts for now. I need something lighthearted to share. I am very excited to tell all of my readers that I am participating at an Alphabet Walk Blog Hop on July 12-16. Piper from One Sydney Road is hosting it. She still has some space available so if you are interested in participating in the blog hop, hop on over to Piper’s blog.
You may ask what is a blog hop? Each participate picks a letter in the alphabet and takes pictures of items that represents the letter chosen. For example, my letter is “A”, so I will take pictures of apples or the A subway train. So stop by my blog on July 12-16 to see my photographic abilities.
If you have been following my blog, you know that my camera was lost in San Francisco. So….that means… I need to purchase my camera before then. And yes, I am still deliberating on which camera I am going to purchase. I do know it will be a Nikon. It is between a Nikon D40 or a Nikon D5000. I have been reading the reviews and they both have great reviews. I need to actually feel both cameras in my hand to see which one weighs less. Knowing me, if a camera is too heavy, I will not want to carry it around. I am excited about buying a new camera since photography is my new hobby. And I can’t wait to start posting pictures on my blog. I prefer to post my own photographs instead of borrowing my images from people on the internet. And I know with time, my photographic skills will become better.

Do you have your new camera yet? My camera broke a few months ago. I am making do with the camera on my phone until I work out which camera to buy. It makes blogging tricky but I want to save up and get a good camera.

No, I have not bought a camera yet. I need to buy one soon since the blog hop is on July 12th. I was hoping to purchase it this week. I am going to get the Nikon D5000. It is hard to blog when you don’t have a camera. I totally agree with you. Are you planning on buying a new camera?
