Tenley on Happiness
The Bachelor is one of the shows that I watch regularly. It is my guilty pleasure. In the first couple of Bachelor installments, I liked watching the show for the romance, people falling in love, the catfights etc. More recently, I like watching the psychological aspects of the show. This past Monday, Jake chose Vienna over Tenley. I watched her monologue after Jake broke up with her and my ears perked up when the producers prompted her to speak about happiness. Tenley stated that “she has not been able to find happiness yet and at one point in her life she was really happy. Jake brought happiness to her life. “ I screamed at the television and wanted to shake her and tell her ” a man does not make you happy. Jake cannot bring you happiness. Only you, Tenley can find happiness within yourself!” Tenley needs to read my blog posting on happiness and read the happiness poem.
I think it is a good thing that Jake did not pick Tenley, especially after her comment that she hasn’t found happiness yet because the timing hasn’t been right. If you are a Bachelor fan, you know that every other word out of Tenley’s mouth was about her ex-husband. She is not over him yet and now she needs to get over Jake too.
