Creative Everyday: Body
My vision board
I am a totally left brain person. I am analytical , logical, sequential, and objective. I used to be right brain when I was young. I loved art, drawing, writing, and being creative. What happened to the right brained -turned left brain person? Well, I went to college, passed my nursing boards, worked in the clinical setting for several years, got my Master’s degree and then joined the rat race of corporate America. That’s what happened.
I realized last year that it was so hard for me to write creatively again. I had a creative block and expressing myself through the written word became extremely difficult. My soul needed to be nourished again and I needed to feed my soul with my imagination that used to come naturally for me. I started writing in my journal again, started writing projects, meditating, and visualizations. One of my goals this year is to do something creative each week, whether it is doodling, writing, creating greeting cards, or creating inspiration boards. So, in order to help me with my goal, I found Creative Everyday and I joined Creative Everyday’s 2010 challenge. Each month has a different theme and January’s theme is body. I thought what a perfect word for me since I am a health coach. I created a vision board of how I see my body or how I would like to see my body in 2010 and posted some inspirational words like power, be delicious, play, calm down, we fire our passions, hot, and revamp your life and your body.
So, I am practicing to be creative everyday. How do you express your creativity? Please leave me a comment. Love to hear from you.

I would suggest that you go reading fantasy fiction and old classics like Frankenstein, alice in wonderland etc. It gives you a bulk of inspiration and creative spur.
